COURSE DESCRIPTION:

If you've started learning Perl and know the basics but want to get in deeper then this course is for you. By the end you will have a greater mastery of important elements of the language needed for useful programs. Also provides experience with using the Perl debugger and using the built-in documentation.

KEY OBJECTIVES:

You will learn:

bullet Basic use of the debugger
bullet More powerful use of regular expressions

PREREQUISITES:

This course is for the graduate of "Perl IIa" or someone with equivalent expertise: You understand the basic data types, can iterate through a hash, know basic regular expressions and can do file I/O.
