Perl IIa
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
If you've started learning Perl and know the basics but want to get in deeper then this course is for you. The main objective of this course is to obtain a greater mastery of important elements of the language needed for useful programs. It also provides experience with the Perl debugger and using the built-in documentation.
KEY OBJECTIVES:

| How to interact with the command line, call external programs, and access the environment | |
| Basic use of the debugger | |
| More powerful use of regular expressions |
PREREQUISITES:
This course is for the graduate of the "Perl I" course, or someone with equivalent expertise: You understand the basic data types, can iterate through a hash, know basic regular expressions and can do file I/O.
