PSDT Main

Grace Scott, Managing Director for PSDT, has been working in the field of software development since 1983, primarily at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. A computer science graduate of California Polytechnic Institute, she was the member of "JPL Webmasters", a group of volunteers who pioneered the deployment of the World Wide Web at JPL and was heavily involved in the introduction of open standard data representations such as the Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) and Extensible Markup Language (XML).

She developed database interfaces for the Deep Space Network, then went on to create a web portal for the Enterprise Information System, finally moving to the Product Data Management System to program their web-based data retrieval interface. Her current projects include digital image synthesis and manipulation, web site programming using Perl and style sheets, webmaster and graphic illustrator for the PSDT web site.
